Find the head in profile and the standing man in
the clouds. Took this out front last night.

1. The head in profile is the dark cloud on the left edge...
...starting about halfway down the image (the nose is especially prominent). The standing man is slightly right of center in the white cloud (along the right edge of the photo). It actually looks like he's falling backward with his hands together .

Nice, subtle rainbow, BTW. I had a very frustrating experience a few weeks ago when I drove into town to pick up a pizza. Since I figured I'd only be out for a few minutes, there was no need to take a camera along, right? Well, when I started the drive home, what do I see but the most brilliant (double) rainbow I've ever encountered. We are talking a "make a fortune in 'inspirational' posters alone" kind of rainbow. But...I have no camera!

:banghead:

And, by the time I managed to get home and grab my Nikon, the rainbow had faded considerably, and all I could get was this:

Which, I will grant, is nice, but probably not even one-fifth the intensity it had when I first saw it.

Oh, well, I learned my lesson...and always keep at least a point-and-shoot close at hand.

2. RegnaD, I'm rather spooked by your photo...
...because I took a rainbow picture here last week that looks almost identical to yours. I don't have it downloaded to my computer yet, but I really did a double-take when I saw yours.

3. Still, it is a very nice photo.
I missed a great picture on the way home. When I left a meeting. I looked over the valley below and the clouds were incredible.

4. Here's one of mine...
This rainbow was so huge and so close there was no way I could get the whole thing in the photo. I wish I knew how Ralps does his panoramas. P.S. - Can somebody explain to me why this pixelated when I reduced the size?

7. I thought about that, but I had already made my
choice.
