it was taken at the Jack Daniels International Invitational BBQ championship in Lynchburg, TN.

I'm a certified BBQ judge and have judged many contests but I have yet to be accepted to judge this one. It's one of the premier events of the year.

I really like the Mustard & Vinegar based sauces they use in that part of the country.

You don't really see them very much anywhere else.

5. Actually, as I understand it those Mustard and vinegar bases are in the

Eastern part of our state, not in Lexington.
But, I'm no expert, I could be wrong. I'm just 10 miles from Lexington, and whenever I drive through, I get some BBQ.

7. Mustard base sauces are primarily found in South Carolina.

Eastern NC uses a vinegar based sauce (without ketchup). Although technically I suppose, it's really not even a "sauce". Oh, and with eastern NC bbq, a side of hushpuppies is a must.
