look for the girl in the black and white striped shirt. She is sitting on her balcony, a book on her lap, and a cigarette or joint in her left hand. Hint: 5 o'clock

There's a bicycle shop. You can tell by the bike coming out of the wall. Men are working on a roof, and a woman with a white scarf around her neck walks near a corner.

1. I didn't find the girl in black & white but I found a grey haired woman
wearing a blue towel on her balcony watering her plants and a young woman in blue jeans with a black scarf, dark glasses and a beret crossing the street. I would recognize her if I bumped into her on the street today!

Spectacular imaging!

2. To find the girl you have to zoom in, scroll down and
and pan until the indicator is around 4:30 o'clock (half way between 3 and 6). The building has a grey metal roof. Scroll all the way down until you see the name of the creator. The letters should be a bit before 12 0'clock. Look for his name and pan up from there until you cross the street. There are two trees surrounded by the apartment buildings. Just to the left of the Tree Of Heaven will be balconies. She will be there. Off to the right is a flat roofed apartment. You will see two men. One is bending over, the other is to the left around the corner of the building. He is peering out over the tree covered space.

5. Trust me I've had my finger over the buy button more than once
but when I look at the limited times I would ever want to use it and the fact that I now have access to one I'm not so inclined to buy it.

That said, they do pop up on Ebay fairly often.

9. Here's my first panorama. I used the grid on the lcd

to preserve as much at the top and bottom. I used Hugin, a free open source application.
http://hugin.sourceforge.net/
Photostitch didn't work, it crashed on opening.
So here it is:

It's got a bit of a jog on the left, but as I learn the software, those will disappear.

11. Good
first shot and great find on the software. You probably noticed that only using the gridlines lines up the first shot but as you pan you also need the 3rd axis to be level too. My tripod head has the same type of level that's on the $17 pano thingy or another inexpensive tool is level camera cube that fits in the hotshoe.

12. Ok
I accomplished much today. I found the woman/girl. What a cool cool search and uncomfortable intrusion into life. Looks like she was reading a bible?
