That photo has a very appealing quality as is. The overall look reflects a certain mystery which has always been associated with the legends surrounding that staircase, and I like that! I also really like the way you've captured how that stair railing threads its way down through the center of the stairs. Plus, it's a good shot. I've been playing with Lightshop2 (kid with a new toy kind of thing) so I gave it a quick run through to try a couple different things.

These takes aren't any better than yours (which evokes a certain mystery associated with the stories about that staircase), just different.



Works in Grayscale, too, I think.

a small Island past the tip of Door County that requires two boat rides to get to (no wheeled vehicles allowed)
