It had that "very familiar" feel to it. Beautiful part of the world. I love the acoustics in the tunnel/bunker at the top of the hill.

10. Indeed! Do you play an instrument there?

I was up there last week and several people were playing instruments in there. One gentleman was playing a wind instrument in one of the alcoves, just before the empty 16" gun emplacements. Gorgeous, haunting melody!!

11. I've only been there once

But the next time I go there it'll be fully armed with a few flutes, a didgeridoo, a Tibetan singing bowl, drum, rattles and a digital recorder. My idea of a really good time.
