Can you believe this? For once they were all together on the greatest page, with five votes each, and someone came along and unrecommended all of them. Pathetic, really.

And, try to even them out so they make the greatest page together, if you know what I mean.

I already recommended so can't do any more.

There must be people on DU that don't like puppies and babies!

who unrecommend every post that's put up, I'm convinced.

I make a point of reading posts with negative recommends just to spite them. Sometimes I even recommend a post I don't like in order to cancel them out. I'm just contrary that way.

2. well, it was disconcerting BECAUSE

I waited until one thread made the greatest page. Alas, the other three were left behind, like usually happens. So, I recommended the other three, and not the first one. That made them all show up on the greatest page under each other. Sometimes we have issues with people voting more in one thread than another, and I thought that could help.

So, then someone comes along and unrecommends them all.

I have been agnostic on this in the past, but now am officially in the "don't like the unrecommend function" camp.

Up until now, I haven't really cared!

But all is well that ends well. They were voted up together again, though on the right they are apart because some have been recommended more than others. But at this point not a huge issue.

I feel kind of silly now, LOL. I also had not had my coffee yet when I posted this. :evilgrin:
