2. Link
I work on it so often, I have it bookmarked. Assumed you'd all have it bookmarked, too. What?! You don't?! That's we have ConsAreLiars--to keep me honest.

Thanks for the link! :hi:

I notice that she just posted a few of her stunning photos in the Photogroup's Photo Gallery. Check them out at http://photogroup.smugmug.com/Portfolio

4. Wow, that was quick!
They haven't been up more than an hour. Glad you liked 'em. I wish I could figure out how to delete one I uploaded by mistake!

5. I was thinking about adding another photo
to my gallery last night and when I went to Smugmug, there were your pictures! Needless to say I forgot all about adding any pictures, yours were so interesting. I'm glad to find someone else who likes to dabble with photo art (using flase colors and special effects to create a dazzling image from a sometimes mundane photo).

I think only F. Gordon, as host, can delete photos.

6. I actually started taking photos so I could
make collages with photoshop without running the risk of copyright infringement. :) I was glad to see your manipulated photos, too. I really liked the large ship one--great color choices and saturation!

7. Nice portfolio!
Off topic question - doesn't that running puppy ever get tired? It makes me tired - especially when two or three of your posts show up on the same screen...:D

8. Have you ever HAD a puppy?
He sleeps when I log off. ;)

I like your portfolio, too. That columbine is extraordinary! I also really like "Between Storms II." I love it when the sun peeks out like that and you can use the dark clouds as dramatic backdrop. Very nice lighting.

9. How do you get to have a portfolio there?
I have some I'd like to share besides my contest entries.

10. You have to suck up to F.Gordon.
You should have no problem at all, Blue! :eyes: :P

F.Gordon will give out portfolio set-up passwords to people who frequent the group. Since I know you well (virtually, at least), I'll forward the info he sent me to you. Check your PM. Can't wait to see what you put up!

14. Heat getting to you?
:hi:

You don't have to suck up to me. You just have to lie and tell me that my crappy snapshots are the most beautiful photographs you've ever seen. And I have a long memory. :)

Actually... all anyone has to do is ASK. But me thinks that some people may be uncomfortable with asking so I may take the "proactive" (I always HATED that word) approach to get more people starting portfolio galleries.

I don't want it to seem like some snobby "members only" kind of thing.

12. It's been ages...
My mom used to raise shelties.

Our current menagerie includes two aging cats (16 years this month), one adult cat and a guinea pig, two fish, and a rabbit that will arrive as soon as Feli gets back from camp. None of them are that energetic.

Natural lighting sure is great. I hopped out of my car last night after I returned from 7 hours of meetings and 4 hours of driving, ran in and grabbed my camera and sprinted back out to catch the sun peering through the woods that I spotted on the way by. Haven't had a chance to see if I got anything yet.

13. I hope the shot turned out good
On my way home from West Virginia last evening I saw a majestic bank of clouds, with subtle peach tones added by the setting sun, and softened by the humidity in the air. And there was no damn suitable place to pull over and get the picture!

Just another shot added to my mental portfolio of missed opportunities!
