Sunshine would confuse each of these.
In here is the one I want to enter. Tell me your favorite, or what you don't like.
You know it's hard to choose among your own things when you have emotional attachments to what you were trying to do.

:)

2. Not my glider.
Belongs to a neighbor a few houses down. They may entertain an offer......

3. Cost to ship it halfway across the country
might be a tad prohibitive. LOL

But I really do love that cardinal shot. Framed very nicely, dear.

4. ..
I am just clowning with you.
One never knows, I had a 85 pound carpet shipped in for 1 dollar last week.

It's gratifying that you like the cardinal's framing.

:hi:

6. As NV Whino observed, it is hard to choose among these, but
I am partial to the fireplug as well.

7. Love the cardinal, BUT
Not quite snowy enough and the fireplug is just awesome

8. Well,
thanks - you are my bird expert (next to Maestro, of course, as his name properly implies :))
I was partial to the bird shot, thinking the white surround and the icicle on the feeder might be wintry enough.

My other two favorites are the fire plug, and the first one.

I'm afraid to go on my camera toting walk in the sunshine, lest there will be more to confuse the issue.

But I VERY MUCH appreciate it when you folks give me some feedback.

9. heh, I am no expert at all
It is a beautiful shot, and all white with that red in the middle. It is just extremely appealing. Honestly, it could be in a magazine.

But I think the fireplug makes a better seasonal entry, because it just looks colder, and it is just as appealing visually.

I'm struggling because the heron walking across the frozen lake doesn't really look that cold (even though it was!), because the ground is devoid of white stuff..... Not sure what I'll do. It could be that, one of my cardinal pics, or the fruit trees covered in snow from last year. Our event here just didn't have a lot of depth to it this year.

10. Had to choose the cardinal
because it's simply a beautiful photo. But there's not one in the bunch I didn't like. The footsteps & tire tracks one is really good, though it probably wouldn't do well in a contest unless you photoshopped a kitten into it...

12. I like the cardinal, all red in an other wise gray and black setting.
Looks wintry to me.
I also like the steps...they appear to be floating...very neat almost abstract impression.
But brrr..the idea of being out in the snow..
( Ah'm just del-lee-cut Southern flower, that's all I am)

13. now I say
Go with the cardinal!

Somehow it has the right mixture of appeal to the masses and being very artful--it is just so visually appealing. No, it doesn't look as cold as some of the others but today I am putting a lot less weight on that. I've been known to change my mind, LOL.
