and rendered beautifully in black & white. The only issue I have with your work is you could never post enough of it to satiate me. Well done!

3. Thanks. I'm gearing up for a black and white Spring. |
|
I'm hoping to get past the flash of color to find some flash in form.
I might do a challenge to see other interpretations of a black and white spring.

8. Hit the arboretum today. It was tough finding good B&W |
|
subjects. Some really needed color. Some flower don't like desaturation.
I will post some tonight or tomorrow.
A challenge would be good.

9. Your choices were judicious, IMHO. |
|
Though the color ones you posted are really eye-popping, the black & whites are striking in their own right.

10. Thanks. I was going to take more, but my arthritis |
|
made it difficult, forcing me to sit down and let the "discomfort" subside.

Couple of hours walking around with a camera these days and I usually reach for the liniment for my knee as soon as I get home. Age, in many ways, sucks.

12. Still you have to get out and move around. Arthritis |
|
conspires to make you stop moving. My legs are OK, it was the use of my arms that get me. To take images in Macro, I had to stretch and lean. It's good for me, but hurts.

4. I left one hell of a raised garden when I moved this last time. |
|
I've had to garden in clay pots in my new place. Crocus refuses to grow in our front yard, but the Grape Hyacinth seems fine with clay ladened soil there.

Good lighting. It really shows off the texture and form. I like the idea of showing spring in black and white, without all the flashy colour.
