Hi folks.. all the polls in the lounge attracted me to this group, so I thought Id put a foot in the water. You guys all have such amazing pictures!

8. I just learned how to do it a couple months ago

I guess I should say, I finally figure out quick masking in photoshop :) I love the effect but its hard not to go over board with it. Im learning how to balance it all.

Your reflections photo is very nice. Don't forget to post it in the "official" submission thread.

The Crawford pix.... I like the way you combined BW/Color. Very kewl. I've seen 100's of "garden variety" snapshots from Crawford, but these are the first that I like as actual photographs.

I should really clean them up a little but the work was a bit tedious on a touch pad.

The photo you posted along with the first counter protester in black and white with the cut and run sign are the whole reason I decided to do the colorization. It was the only thing I could think of to draw not only attention to what the most important elements of each photo were in my eyes.. but also to share the feelings of my experience. One day Ill be a better photographer and I wont need all the bells and whistles, but I really like how this turned out alot.
