1. These are just lovely...
Thank you.

I especially like the tender expression on the figure in the last one...

Very nicely composed.

3. Outstanding set. You have really outdone yourself.
As I scrolled through these, I found myself nodding at the rightness of the choices you've made for composition and framing. These are exceptional, and very atmospheric. I would like to see the man walking past the arches rotated clockwise just a little, maybe 1° or even half that. But that's a paltry complaint.

Thanks for sharing these with us, MissH!

11. Same here
I planned on taking more sepia, but the colors came out great so I decided to stay with color the most time.

I love shooting in old cemeteries as well. The sculptures make great objects. Newer cemeteries miss the special flair.

5. Complete and perfect, Miss Honeychurch. The one of the
single flower on Schopenhauer's grave with the light right on it made me choke up, it's so sentimental. Each photo is a great example of taking us along and showing us your visit and photo adventure.
One of your very best efforts.

Congratulations.

And from one German to another, struggling with the English language:
It's a "Cemetery", FYI.

:)

Beautiful work! I especially love the first one. It is so tender.

12. Thank you Mira

At least you know who Schopenhauer was. I was thinking about adding a Wiki link but decided against it. I was very lucky with the light there. A few minutes later the sun was gone.

And thanks for the correction. Cemetery is one word I keep writing wrong. Maybe now I will remember :)

6. I love cemeteries
I especially like the fourth picture, it is the type of statue that I would be drawn to. Your pictures are lovely.

13. Thank you handmade
It won't be the last time I went to the cemetery. I can imagine going back when the leaves are turing red or yellow or when snow is on the ground.

15. Thanks BuddhaGirl
I like the archway also. The moment I saw it on the small screen on my camera I know that was a special shot for me.
