A golden evening on Turnagain Arm
We've had a lot of fog lately, but it makes for some beautiful scenes. I love the circular cloud around the sun.

Another incredible shot, Blue! It's like the place just posed for you. :hi:

4. I would say you are cooking on the very front burner these days,
but then, that is nothing new.
I agree with why you like this photo and why. And then some.
:)

5. Mira has it right.
You're making some really strong images. This one is especially fine. Keep 'em coming.:hi:

6. This is absolutely the best time of year here
We took road trips last week to Hatcher Pass and down to Seward and I have a whole collection of really beautiful shots that basically I didn't have to do much except click the shutter. I'll try to put a few of them up at my website before we leave for the Lower 48 on Tuesday.

We're off to San Francisco and Denver, where I will be seeing InTheFlow and F. Gordon, as well as Heather, Robby and SEBASTIAN.

And have a great trip, with lots of photo ops!

8. I think the trip is going to be wonderful,
and I am SO looking forward to finally meeting F. Gordon. You know, he is the one who is responsible for me having all this great gear because HullBoss was PMing him for advice back when he first started buying me all the Canon stuff. I can thank F. Gordon for the L lenses -- and I will. :)

10. Beautiful. Looks like a Lenticular cloud. Was it over a
mountain? Do a google search and then look at the images.

11. There are mountains there
but not really high ones. It does seem to have that general shape, though. Mt. McKinley forms absolutely wonderful lenticular clouds.

12. When I worked outside I had to know what the clouds mean.
