Yellow on Red and Red on Yellow
Went out shooting a few days ago, intending to look for some stairs. Didn't find any stair shots worth posting but got a bunch of fall shots. For these shots, I wasn't sure which tree's leaves would work better as a backdrop so I got some photos each way.

1. Iprefer the first one for sure
It is less busy and distracting. The yellow really pops and is supported by the background. In the second to me the background blurs the red.
I hope you were having fun. Looks like it!

2. It was fun
It was fun getting back to taking some photos. I've been distracted lately by work and other projects. The weather also hasn't been very cooperative lately so I didn't go out and shoot for a while. Unfortunately, most of the leaves were already off the trees so I missed most of fall. Hopefully next year I'll be able to get out earlier in the season and get better photos.

3. I hope you keep on keepin' on. Having this group to bounce things off of,
or knowing you can come here and show what moved you on a given day, is such a gift.

I just got home from the store. Took a photo of a department store with Christmas wreaths and right beside it trees in full splendor of color.
I will save it for a contest called: Incongruous.

It's that sort of thing I mean, you're out, you see something, and you actually have some folks who will look at it and care.
