Big price drop for Olympus E-PL1

Amazon is showing it for $399. The Panasonic GF1 is now $599. I think that GF1 price is with the prime lens.

Big price drops usually means a new version is on the way. The GF1 saw a price drop right before the intro of the GF2.

That has to be a typo on the Olympus. If you haven't read up on it, the Olympus has been highly rated for image quality and ease of use. So has the GF1.

Yes, the $599 is the price for the Panasonic with a 20mm f1.7 lens. It is an excellent lens, but not as flexible as the zoom.
