Got my first "professional" job. Any hints on photographing a stainless steel product?

Of course the reflections are terrible and I have some soft light umbrellas. I'm thinking of using a white background to be removed. This is a new type of project for me and I would love some hints as to save me some experimentation time. I'll be using a Nikon D5000 with a 200mm lens and two, maybe three umbrellas.

1. I haven't tried it but there is

a removable spray that has a matte finish that will cut down on glare. I have also read that a polarizing lens would help but I've never used one for that purpose.

4. I've been thinking about cornstarch.

I'll post some results when I have something I'm not totally embarrassed by.

7. Try hairspray.

It will dull the glare and is easy to wash off. Good luck.

placed at strategic points to remove specific reflections.
