If anyone's curious, my fire escape is on the back of the Puck Building in NYC, hence the title. That gorgeous color is painted, not a patina, as fire escapes are iron, not copper or bronze (copper would be stolen and bronze would likely fall off the building).

Cassandra/Alfredo and to me. I won big time, got my theme, got second place, and now I have my mind free to obsess about another theme that I can manifest into reality by making a pest of myself about it.

I have to thank alfredo who named my lost kinglet and helped me in my journey to release her, hence finding the stairway in the park (and my daughter who titled the photo)...

I didn't acknowledge yesterday because I was working in Detroit and this is what I encountered literally hundreds of times...









OH, and just for fun, this is me, as I looked thousands of years ago (aw, to have hair again!)...

18. Can't comment on the self portrait, I'm too proud of how you look to speak.

But as far as the photos of Detroit go - that just breaks my heart. It reminds me of a long time ago driving through my one and only time in the Eastern part of Kentucky and getting very lost
I kept driving past broken down and abandoned factories and buildings. Miners with coal dust on their faces. At that time I was still scared of the natives, had probably seen Deliverance again, and finally asked a man sitting in front of a convenience store how to find my way out.

After he told me I swept my hand to the surroundings and asked him: "Do you think Reagan knows?"
He said "No."

So that's how I feel looking at Detroit.
And the sad incredible thing is that we all know. Even our President
Ongoing tax cuts for the top 2 percent, that'll fix it.
