do you post a picture here? I've set up a flicker account but I'm not sure how to

I gave this answer a couple of weeks ago, and it is the only way I know how to do it.
As you read it you learn, as I did, that the link I said to use is not the best one, the best one is the direct link, the second from the top in the lineup of links.

The person for whom I typed this up successfully posted a photo after-wards, so I guess the step by step worked.

2. I post from Flickr.

On Flickr, I use the magnifying glass to get to the all sizes part, and select the size needed. Then right-click on the image and choose the third menu option (Firefox) "Copy image location". Paste that into your post, and preview the post. The image should show up without any other information.

9. Also, if you want to post a photo, and provide a link back to the original:

You'll need two links:

First, the one to the photo page, the one that has all of the details.

Second, the link to the image itself - go to the all sizes page, select the size you want, right click and select "copy image location".

I'll put a post after this showing how to use the two links, since I can't add the square brackets in this one.

Note that technically, you're supposed to provide a link back to the Flickr page, though it's rarely done - which is why I originally figured out how to do this, but it's a nice way of letting people see the EXIF info, or allowing them to view all sizes.

13. Not really, you know how to get the photos up, and simply copying the link works

fine. I just posted mine for general information if someone ever needs to do something like that.
