I just bought a D300!

My client was selling his because he bought a D7000. So, I'm getting the D300 for $700, what B&H would give him. Now I have to sell my N70, D100 and a couple of point and shoots. Should bring the price down to abbot $300 or so.

I spent the rest of the afternoon rounding up cameras to sell. I came up with six. Where do these things come from? They multiply like bunny rabbits. Or like cats. They just appear on your doorstep and adopt you.

Can you translate that to Canonese for me? Is the D300 kind of like a 50D or something?

But, I think that is roughly correct. It's sort of the last high end camera before you get into the really high end cameras. If that makes more sense. Check out my First thread to see some photos.The focus option are awesome.
