Poll question: *** January Contest Theme - FINAL POLL
It has become obvious that there are only 6 viable themes (all others have received 0 or 1 votes).

So here are the final themes for a final vote, so as not to waste any more time on the first polls.

1. Tabatha - thumbs up on how you are handling this!
I was wondering if you would do a run-off of water vs. b/w - since they were the leaders but could not be voted on against each other.
You chose a better way.

2. Thanks!
I just hope people do not mind voting again.

3. Not to worry- they'll vote.
And I'll vote.
We are a funny bunch, we take our time sometimes.

If we hold off and observe, like I plan to do, our vote becomes valuable down the line.
Never win the early ones
:)

4. Tough decision for me
between b/w and water. I live near a river (quite frozen right now), so there are many photo ops in close proximity.

But I voted for b/w because I need the practice.

Thanks tabatha for all of your hard work.

And do you believe group? I haven't taken one photo this year yet! I think I had photo-taking overload over the holidays! ;-)

5. The poll for the December theme had 26 votes
--- this has 25. So possibly keep the poll up for a day or two more (Friday morning), and then have a decision before the weekend when many people shoot?

7. I missed the first two polls. One of them might have gotten 2 votes.

8. It would be nice to have polls that allow for about 20 entries.
It was impossible to have the two most popular compete against each other by keeping the low vote-getters in the two different polls.

10. I thought polls were the way to go.
Anyhow, it looks as though a coin toss will have to decide.
Last month's poll had 26 votes - this has 37.

13. If it ties or stays this close
you could always make the theme water in black and white. :) Would be pretty interesting and a challenge.

14. Or go for broke...
...and combine as many of the themes as possible. Maybe a black and white shot of a backlit water clock that has metal parts. Not sure if I can get "illusion" in the mix, though.

16. We once had a contest
repetitive patterns in black and white, or something like that. Water in black and white could satisfy (or frustrate) the group!

Or just pick one!

If I should ever come in first (second place winner, last competition) I'll be sure to ask you, as well as previous winners on how to conduct a contest. It doesn't seem to be all that easy. Nice job
