Why, put on funny costumes and participate in the Fur Rendezvous 10K "Frostbite Footrace" through downtown Anchorage, of course. Here are a few pics from yesterday's festivities.

We stayed downtown for the parade (I'll probably post some more pix later), but wimped out and went home to a warm fire before the outhouse races, dogsled races, snowboard demonstrations and, yes, sadly, the fireworks. It was just brutal downtown. We're saving our energy for the Iditarod.

Had I known there was a pro-union rally at the Sheraton, I WOULD have made it for that, though.

1. Okay, these are awesome

But that is one event I would not have covered.................

I love the monkeys and the hard rock band, and.........uh, all of it.

Great effort, that was fun watching......on my screen.
