OK. You can catch lightning with a Droid tablet

We got a helluva storm last night and I managed to catch a couple of lightning pics. Not exactly recommended procedure, but I was cowering in the safety of my back porch. (That's my clothesline, not a power line in the shot btw.)

This was my second experiment with the Droid, but both forays got shown on the local news. Here's a link to last night's catch.

So, how DO you get good lightning pics, really? Patience?

2. Heh, then I guess I got it right

100 takes the other night for 4 worthwhile-ish shots, over 400 last night for two. It's at once fun and frustrating.

sometimes I shoot 300-500 and use none... lightning and fireworks are weird like that
