I told her I was taking photos of pretty things, and that little did I know I would meet a pretty girl.

May I - I asked - and look at her pose for me

2. Yeah. And think of how much better the photo would be had you been there to take it. nt

3. Aw. You never know how a kid might react to a man as

opposed to a woman. You were the right person to catch that image.

4. I think you have a point. The more I look at her posing the more I like her

openness to a stranger.
My X daughter in law, who did not like me much but faked it, said: "Children and Babies love you".

6. She probably gets a lot of love at home. That openness

is a mirror of how she is treated at home.

8. I think you are right again. She was with her Mom. I asked the Mom if I could

ask her if I could take her picture. They were very relaxed with each other, and with me.

9. Remember the John Lennon song where he said,

"One Thing you can't hide, is when you're crippled inside." Happiness is evident too. We just have to pay attention. I'm still working on it.


Practicing Macro, and thinking of making a light box. Photographing marbles convinced me to finally build one. Glare is the disease, good lighting the cure.

I think that you and Alfredo have a real flair for making people feel at ease, and the Begabung for capturing them at the right moment.

What is she holding, a cookie? :-)

12. She had been bent over, scratching in the earth and it was a rock.

When I asked to take her picture she did something instinctively and immediately I had only ever seen one other person do: She instantly composed her body.

The other person is one of my best friends, a seasoned actress who was second lead in one of the main ABC soaps for 20 years.
For me it was instant recognition of a flair for drama.

I wish I knew where that kid is, she is art school material, another shot to show she held that pose like a pro.
