2. bashful is the only one I wouldn't
suggest entering... "Mowing..." is a personal favorite (but it's a me thing), "The Old Stove" is a solid picture but lacks a cook at the stove, "The Farm" is Wow! ...but child playing is just really sweet...

so I guess I'm no help :)

4. "The Farm" is wonderful....
but I have a passion for old stoves.

5. My vote went to mowing the grass - since the visual reminds me
of what I saw in my youth. And it is perfectly shot and cropped. All of them are singularly arresting. The clouds in the farm especially, I all but can't believe the vision. Like the old stove a lot, but would look at it with some of the top cropped to bring the eye down.
I love seeing your work here, and I'm glad you are prolifically posting it. I learn from you.

6. The panelling in the first image takes me back. Some of
the best meals I've had were cooked on a wood stove. In the sink was cold water from a hand pump.

Thanks for bringing up those memories.

It was like this. I liked watching the water coming out like a sheet.

The best creamed corn, fried chicken, and apple pie was served there. I remember the long table and the one bare light bulb in the dining room. That was the only room with electricity.
