3. those pictures bring home
what were living thru. This is only my second summer in texas and even life long residents cant belive it. we has 27 days in a row over 100 (the old record was 21) so far we've had 62 days over 100 this summer, the all time record is 69 which we will break next week since there is no relief in sight. for all intents and purposes we've had almost no rain since the 3rd week of may. we've only had 4 or so real rainstorms all year.

It figures--- I move somewhere and i ruin the weather. I moved to madison the year before they smashed their snowfall records. now austin..

watch out or I could be moving to your city :)

4. you can move to my "city" anytime
I love the stories that the photos tell...

(must say though, my house in Vermont has the best quality and most flush spring that I have ever tasted or seen... last spring dowsed by Paul Sevigny before he passed)

6. We are getting a taste of the future.
I was in Eritrea at the beginning of the great drought. I hope it doesn't get that ugly.
