August Photo Contest Plea

Please fill up the photo contest slots before Grovelbot tries to enter!

Numerous times in the past, Grovelbot has tried entering the contests. Don't get me wrong. Grovelbot is a great robot, the kind you wouldn't mind talking to over a bowl of chips. But whenever Grovelbot posts to the submission thread, it's clear that there's been no thought as to the theme. Also, the photo is clearly modified well beyond accepted limits - the text bubble is definitely a step too far. And finally, I have serious doubts about Grovelbot's willingness to host the next contest.

So please, enter before Grovelbot does!

4. I also like the entry very much, and the title. A photo of calm and serenity.

And the bump will help - if by chance it does not - we can always place a post in the Lounge.
I've done it, we could call it "Soliciting...", and if it again brings top drawer work like it did before (Schema Thing submitted an instant first place winner, and I believe that is also how Tabatha came with her instant winner) we will be just fine.

very talented photographers who do not post here. I'm so glad that bluesbassman as decided to join us!
