Bird of Paradise - For Peggy: This was shot in low light.

This photo has had zero post processing. Shot with a Nikon DX40 and a Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8. Paid $200 for this lens. ISO set at 800, exposure 1/15, f/1.8, no flash - just the ambient lighting at 9:30pm in front of the hotel I stayed at in Irvine this weekend. I'm VERY happy with this lens for the $$ and it'll work just fine with your D50. :)
