I work night shift...

Guess that makes me a loner by default. I was always somewhat loner-istic, but this shift makes it almost impossible to get together with other people, since I get out around the time most people are starting the day.

Wonder if anyone else has seen that result from working third shift. Thanks. :hi:

1. Yes I worked nights for about 16 years,

and it only accentuated my loner-ness. Even on forums like this I don't approach a lot of people, keeping to myself a lot.

2. I work night shift and I have no life whatsoever.

It's hard to have and keep friends while working on the night shift.

3. I can see how it happens...

I find it almost impossible to synchronize my schedules with other people. Even after two years on this shift, I still find it weird that early afternoon makes me feel as sleepy as anyone else feels at night. :)

I can be absent a great deal of the time and avoid the daytime herd, whom I DESPISE :hi:
