I find alot of solace in books. So much of what we think about relationships, being alone etc. is formed by the mass media. The happy people and their happy relationships that play like a fantasy.

I still feel lonely at times but don't let it bother me like I used too.

Many people have physical companions but not spiritual or intellectual ones. Some have the spiritual, intellectual and political companions but not the physical ones as many here at DU. I guess you can't have it all.

1. Well, welcome to our little club.

It isn't so much oxymoronic as it is people who can't
physically be around other people all the time but who
are human and still need human interaction some of the time.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless you're one of us.

:hi:
