Why are there so few of us in the gallery?

This is not a rhetorical question. I'm curious.

I guess I'm guilty too. I did post my pic in Nighttrain's and Cyndee Lou's picture threads the other day. I was so proud that I was able to figure out how to do it.

I haven't before because I only just got a digitized pic of myself a few weeks ago. I could submit it to Skinner. I just haven't thought about it.

And since we are loners ... no shame in using the Slinkerwink technique of taking your picture in the mirror. That's how I did it.

3. I have very few pictures of myself.

I am camera phobic. I avoid them at all costs. The only pics of me are those my mother takes; mom will not be denied. Or someone "sneaks" a shot when I'm not looking.

I have one in the gallery; it's 2 or 3 years old; the most recent I can find. My mom took it, of course.

11. You have to upload the pic to a Web hosting site

like http://www.imageshack.com/.

After that, you can use the web address of the pic in your message and it automatically shows up in your post. :-)

my pic isn't nearly as clear as yours, even without the mirror. My mom caught me standing on a river bank; not a closeup, but pretty typical of where you'd find me and what I'd be up to. ;-)
