I am not lonely anymore
I don't know why, perhaps I got used to living alone. But it's been three weeks since my boyfriend has left and I am totally content. I shock myself sometimes.

You might be in shock, or repressing emotions. I went through a period where I convinced myself that I was ambivalent about most everything. I think that was just a device to get away from the pain. I know now, at least abstractly, that good emotions are worth the pain of sudden setbacks. It's better than feeling nothing but a dull perception that you're not happy.

Of course, some people really are happy alone.
