1. use to like acrylics
allowed me to work for longer periods of time, but now I'm into watercolors -- still learning how to use them properly, my old habits with acrylics/oils still creep in

I have to "share" my painting space with 4 cats that like to walk on the pallet and make rainbow footy-prints across the tables and floors - watercolors let me clean up easily

7. caran d'ache
water color crayons. like oil pastels, only water based. very, very fun and expressive. they can be strong, and show the markmaking, or be washed with a wet brush, blended, pushed. sometimes i use pastels with them, which gives a good contrast.

13. Anyone have a source for purchasing enamel?
with a wide range of colors? Or is mixing enamel as safe & efficatious as mixing oils or acrylic?

Me, I usually paint in oil

...but lately I've been pretty much working with dyes on silk -- the jewel tones really come out when stretched & mounted with a light behind it.
Oh and I do clothing too... but usually only use blanks
--I REALLY need to learn to sew ;/

Macrame' has been a long time love of mine. Beads, paper, jewlery wire, ribbon embordery, fabric paint, wood, cement, color pencils, chalk, and anything that I can use to create something. I would love to learn how to weld. :kick:

17. Assemblage and collage.
That's what I'm into now.
If we're talking 2D, I'd say maybe watercolor or a really fine graphite drawing.
