1. Very Nice...
I like the way you included your "set up" in the photo. That's a wonderful set of pastels. What brand is that?
I love the piece.

3. That's the best still life of pastels and a fireplace I've ever seen!
Oh wait...

:P

The picture is awesome. I don't think the color on the face hurts it at all (I'm assuming you're speaking of the pinker shade on her face). The skin tone and musculature on the back and arm is excellent.

Are those tats artistic design or based on real ones? Is it a self-portrait? And if so, are you married?

4. Oh, you smarty-pants. She's a Suicide Girl!!!
I haven't been that cute for 10 years at least.

Here's the reference photo. (I excluded the kitschy umbrella in my painting.)

6. You'd think that Suicide Girls would have been a short-lived concept.
Some false advertising there if you ask me.

:hide:

I think she should mix in some yellow and green with her hair. I'm a sucker for that.

5. That's NOT A FIREPLACE, by the way.
It's the west interior wall of my studio. But our fireplace is also granite -- EVERYTHING in Ticino is granite.
