This was my first ever model painting using OIL

July 2004 was the first time I ever used oils. At an art summer camp type deal. I had to give a portfolio to get in, but it was full of photography. I took painting classes. Go figure. So anyway, here goes:

I'm a photographer primarily. I've had experience with watercolors and acrylics. I hope to have more of my stuff on here soon so that you guys can see the progression. You guys have totally inspired me to get back on track with my painting. I've been getting obsessive with my photography (which is good, considering that is what I'm going into!)... but I really enjoy painting for hours on end.

I can use all the encouragement I can get to keep with this oils thing. The acrylics have been sitting and waiting patiently for me to be over with the oils, but I refuse! :D
