Charles Kennedy was recently ousted out of the leadership

of the Liberal Party in the UK, because of a drink problem. The joke doing the rounds of Westminster at the moment is:

"What have Charles Kennedy and Julius Caesar got in common? Both were knifed in the back by men wearing sandals."
