Bogus Conservative Ideas
Cutting taxes stimulates the economy and leads to increased revenue. A corollary of this is that higher taxes strangle economic growth.
Deficits "aren't so bad".
Liberalism is "destroying America". Other variants include, "liberals are "collectivists", "socialists", "communists" "Stalinists".
"Trickle down" economics.
The wage earner depends on the wealthy investor for his prosperity.
Government is "bad" and has no role in creating wealth or prosperity.
Conservatives believe in "less government".

1. Raising the minimum wage hurts low wage earners

by somehow making small empoyers fire people.

and cutting corporate taxes makes them hire more people. bush really pushed this during his first round of tax cuts "companies that have more money will hire more people!". right.... no company ever hired someone just because it had extra money laying around.

2. To oppose any war a Republican President can think of is "treason"

Terrorism can be controlled or terminated by warring against Middle Eastern Countries
The "Islamists" want to kill us all or force us to convert to Islam by the sword
People who are not American have no rights (no rights to justice, etc. - they can be punished on accusation alone)
The U.N. is a bad thing with the purpose of starting a one-world government
Unlawfully present aliens commit crimes; U.S. citizens or legal aliens never do
America is a Christian Nation, in the same way Iran is a Muslim nation.
Every country should have one official language/religion/culture
The media favors the liberals
