I received the e-mail described in:
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/airplane.asp

1. The flags originally on the plane were stylized and probably protected by trademark.
2. McCain's plane doesn't have a flag either.

1. That flag is the logo of North American Airlines.
Obama customized his plane, just like McCain did.
