Reporter Fed Soldier Question, Or Did He?
http://tennessean.com/local/archives/04/12/62651515.sht...

By LEON ALLIGOOD
Staff Writer

One day after Spc. Thomas Jerry Wilson was called a hero for asking a blunt question of the secretary of defense, questions surfaced yesterday about whether the soldier was coached by an embedded reporter.

Spc. Wilson took Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to task for the lack of armor for vehicles of the Tennessee-based 278th Regimental Combat Team, preparing to move into Iraq from Kuwait.

Yesterday, the Poynter Institute, a continuing education facility for journalists located in St. Petersburg, Fla., and the Drudge Report, a popular daily digest of political news, questioned whether reporter Edward Lee Pitts of the Chattanooga Times Free Press helped Wilson craft his question.

1. Does it shock anyone that
FUCKING DRUDGE IS BREAKING THE STORY?

They are so damned stupid!

I implore any DU'er out there who knows any re-pukes, ask them... just ask them.... how can they SUPPORT our troops without the proper equipment? Just ask one of those people.....and report back, I'd like to know!

2. Now that we're done talking about the reporter, do we have the armor yet?
Secretary Rumsfield? Do they have ALL the armor they need yet? All the body armor? The armored vehicles? Do they have everything they need to temporarily "up-armor" their vehicles?
Would you rather talk about the reporter that suggested the question? Would you like to talk about all the service men that cheered when they heard the question?
Why were the soldiers sent off to war without the proper armor? Was it your decision, Secretary Rumsfield? Or, did it come from "above"? When did you learn that the troops didn't have enough armor, Secretary Rumsfield? Before you sent the soldiers off to war, or after? What did you do to remedy the problem? Were your attempts to belatedly supply the armor blocked?
The company that manufactures the armor plates says he can triple production, but he just hasn't been asked.
We are now nearly two full years into this war. It's been almost that long since the Bush administration declared, "Mission Accomplished". Did you stop trying to get armor because you believed that the war was actually over? Or, did you know that the war wasn't actually over, and that you should keep on trying to get that rare armor plating?
What's that you say Secretary Rumsfield? You have another question about that reporter that planted the question?
