The purpose of the DU Animation Group is to appreciate and promote the art of animation through discussion. All genres of animation can and will be discussed, from Disney classics, to Japanese anime. Any and all forms of animation, whether it be a full length feature film, a short film or a thirty second commercial are open for discussion. Discussion will relate to all aspects of animation, including stop-motion, digital, cell and experimental artwork, directors, etc.

Reviews and recommendations for DVDs and movie releases are welcome. Members of the group can provide each other with resources for adding hard-to-find animation to their home collections but file sharing is expressly forbidden. Members are also encouraged to promote amateur and student animation through links to work and through recommendations.
