New Rurouni Kenshin Anime's Part I Slated for December 7
The December issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is announcing on Friday that the first half of the new Rurouni Kenshin: Shin Kyoto-Hen (Rurouni Kenshin: New Kyoto Chapter) anime project will open in two Japanese theaters on December 7. It will run for one week only at Tokyo's Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro theater and Osaka's Cine-Libre Umeda theater.

The creators are asking fans to name the anime's first installment, and the winner's own name will be listed in the ending credits.
