Angie's List - ever heard of it? |

A private contractor referral service...got a flyer in the mail. It's on a subscription basis, and some kind of franchise.
Now I can find some of that information on the BBB and the state contractor database...was wondering if anyone heard of it or used it...

I've hired a carpet cleaner and an electrician. Both were outstanding in terms of price and service.
As a landlord and homeowner, it's worth the $14.95 a mo. You can subscribe month to month--even quit and sign up again when you need a referral if you want.

I needed a garage built. I checked Angie's List and found a garage builder with a large number of recommendations by other subscribers, got the estimate, and gave the go-ahead. The project went like clockwork and there wasn't a day wasted between subcontractors.
The best part of Angie's List is that you can check on service providers based on recommendations from people who have used the particular service.
