HGTV fans?
I think I'm more addicted to this channel than DU :::OY::::

My fav show is Designers and Landscaping Challenge, also House Hunters...Weekend Warriors...House Detective.

It's where I go when my brain's ready to explode from politics and news.

1. Yes !! I just 'found' this channel =)
on November 3rd, I officially gave up CNN and the rest of the MSM news,,, I had kindof been looking for something to just have on during the day,,,,, I just got back from visiting my Daughters who are both hooked on HGTV and now so am I,,,,, Lots of great ideas on these shows.

2. HGTV fan here
I like so many of the shows I can't list them all. I can't learn anything from cable news but I sure can from HGTV. I wish I had DIY but it's only available on digital cable.

3. I love it!
Gardening by the Yard with Paul James is my favorite show.
Groundbreakers & Landscape Smart are good too.

I also like the show where they do Trash to Treasure segments. Decorating Cents, I think is the name.

Sensible Chic is great. They find a room the homeowner loves, called the inspiration room. Then they copy it for a lot less. By a lot less I mean thousands of dollars less. I love the challenge of that.

5. I love Painted House
Generation Renovation, Homes Across America, House Hunters, and Paul James. There's a lot I don't like though too. I'm sick of most of the design shows lol. :P

6. We do. That is one of the most watched channels in our house...
We love Paul James, as well as Fix It Up. I watch House Hunters, Curb Appeal, and Designed to Sell too. We also like watching If These Walls Could Talk.

7. I love HGTV!
Even when I'm watching something else on TV, I will switch over to HGTV during the commercials, and sometimes I never go back to the other show!

My favorites are the same as yours Catchawave. 'Designer's Challenge' and 'House Hunters' are the best, plus the Organization show.

'If Walls Could Talk', and anything that includes a kitchen!

8. Divine Design with Candice Olsen
I love that show and if i had the money i'd hire her in a second! I also like the show where they use an expensive room as inspiration and try to duplicate it on a budget.

10. Oh yeah, HGTV
Another addict here. :hi:

My favorite shows are Designed to Sell (look-alike on A&E is "Sell This House!"), Debbie Travis' Painted House, and House Hunters. Sometimes "Crafters Coast to Coast" as I'm a crazed paper crafter/beader/seamstess/painter.

DIY channel is pretty good, too.

11. HGTV or FoodTV ... good way to avoid the blatherers on the cablenewsshows
I like many shows on both. I also love the fact that HGTV, in particular, is gay friendly. They have more gay couples as the feature family on their shows and don't bat an eye. Very matter-of-fact that gay people are first and foremost, just that .... people.

(........ "Tom and Steve just bought their historic 1897 townhouse is the Clarridge neighborhood of Sheboygan, and they" ........ )

12. Debby Travis' show was great last night
A guy and his partner lived on a farm outside NYC. The guy was away for 5 days and it was during that time Travis and her crew renovated a milk shed into a sort of cabana. It was planned as a birthday surprise by his partner. It turned out beautifully and people were bleary eyed over it including me. It showed the face of love. And Ms. Travis had her teenage son working on the project, too. So on different levels, it was a great episode.

And I want Debbie Travis to come help us for 3 months!

14. That was a great episode
I'm ashamed to say I cried at the end. It was so well done and so touching.

I loved it when the cute partner said, "Ok! What do you want to drink?"

...I wish there were more "G" in the HGTV. Not enough gardening shows!
