Fixing a stuck drawer.

My mom is so smart I can't stand it, and we had fun yesterday
unsticking a stuck drawer.

This drawer is 12 x 12 x 30 or something, a long deep one, and
I use it to store my food processor and mixer and stuff.

Well, I was just throwing stuff in there, not really paying
attention, and it got stuck. We pulled and used a hammer
as a lever and nothing.

Mom's brilliant idea, instead of smashing the front of the
drawer, drill a quarter-sized hole in the cabinet floor above
the drawer.

We did that, using a hammer and chisel to make the hole big enough,
then used this same metal bar to reach in and break the plastic
chopper bowl that was hung.

No muss no fuss. My drawer is fixed. If my landlord asks
about the hole -- I've been here 11 years -- I'll just say
it's been there the whole time. He won't know the difference.

3. Intelligence- the ability to solve problems...
without specific instruction in the problem's discipline.

I'm impressed, kaitykaity!
