had a $50 certificate for Pier One and decided to hang a pot rack

the instructions said usw two hooks. LOL Right! we tried that and it swung and looked very unsturdy.

I was ready to return it when DH came up with an idea. We already knew where the ceiling joists ran from the first install attempt. So we hung a brace on the wall, used the ceiling joists to suspend the front and viola! solid and useable space. I love it!



I also needed to transplant my tomato seedlings

for that little frugal gardening task, it's here..

I'm so sick of bending down to dig pots & pans out of cabinets and the drawer under the oven!

2. i hated the pots in the bottom cupboard, especially since it had a

narrow door and half the time I had to half unload the whole darn thing to get to the pans in the back

and Pier One had this for only $40. I see them at the thrift stores all the time too, but since I had a certificate I was able to get instant gratification LOL
