What Paint colors go good with Exposed Brick?
for that matter what color/ finish of wood floors? i'm going to be moving into a place with some exposed brick in two rooms. i am wondering if i get stain for the floors they'll refinish to a color i like. my sis in law works for a company where she gets these products for free.
in one room there will also be cabinets that i have no control over what color they are, but there will also be newly finished wood floors for both.
it's not a deep red, but a mellow aged dusty brick color.

2. Yellow, orange, brown, green ... warm colors or colors of nature
I'm certain other colors work well too, but those would be my choices.

3. i'm thinking along those lines...
i justt realized today that maybe i can control the wood finish by supplying minwax products. so now it's getting complicated! LOL.
thanks H2sparkly!

4. I saw a show where they matched the wall color
to the mortar color. So it was a creamy white. Maybe more neutral than you would like, but it was lovely and serene and made the brick wall a nice focal point.
