By request...it's the Shakespeare bathroom!

For Longhorn and AzDem who wanted to see it...viola! Sorry it took awhile. I did this 3 years ago! :D

Good view of the antique vanity, with Will's bust, Shakespeare action figure, and the mirror I spent half a month's salary on!

The print that gave me the color scheme...

Shakespearean tarot and framed verse (I used to change it out once in awhile, but "Bubble bubble" from MacBeth is still in there from our last Halloween party!)

Pocket shower curtain with laminated antique illustrations from "The Complete Shakespeare." I'm still looking for a navy blue velvet fabric to make a drape to hang on another rod. I want it to be "theatrical" looking, tied with a gold tassel, but none of the fabric stores here seem to stock blue velvet (unless it's the cheesy panne' crap)

My painted floor...

Close up of the floor...

Enjoy!

1. It is all amazing!
I would never have believed that floor was painted if you hadn't told us! What a great idea for a bath and you have executed it beautifully! :yourock:

2. Thanks!
I started off in college as an interior design major. Can you tell? B-)

After I heard that a friend of a friend in this profession went out of business FIVE TIMES, I decided that straight ahead art or English was going to be a better bet!

But if you got more talent than ya got money, you gotta use it, you know what I'm sayin? :D

4. Hee hee...
I LOVE theme bathrooms!

Before I got the Shakespeare thing going, my single girl bathroom had all vanilla and gold stuff with "goddesses", small statuary I bought in Italy, and cool gold-framed prints and such.

The shower curtain was clear, and had black old-fashioned reproduction images of Athena, Venus etc all jammed together and repeated in their nude glory.

My friend walked into my bathroom once and I heard, "GEEZ there's a lot of tits on that shower curtain!"
