or get my sledge hammer to take out my fireplace mantel.

I've been working on this for months. I used every sort of thing to take off the 60 year old paint. Sanders, hot blow gun, jasco, safe 3m paint remover. I got it all finally. I had bought the 123 primer sealer and shit if the thing didn't just up so fast that it cause awful mess. I called the company and the fella says that this stuff drys up fast and to add water. It's still a awfully mess. Either I take it out with a hammer or try and sand it smooth.

I'm going to be sick.

after it dryed, I used the sander on it. This make take care of this problem.

2. i wonder if you have some of the paint remover stuff still on the wood?

maybe that is why the results aren't what you were hoping for?

4. Not the stripping stuff

the guy from the company said it sounded like it was drying up to fast, which it's suppose to do. I thinking because the wood was dry, it was decreasing it's drying time. It just means more work to get it smooth for the final paint. I'm getting in the home stretch. Which is a relief.
