Thanks to a post in the gardening group I found that a 6 month membership in the Arbor Day Foundation...a mere $10...will get you 10 trees. TEN trees.

1. My friends did this a while back...

Just so you are aware...the trees are basically little twigs 4 inches high with tiny roots. Of the 10 trees they got, only 1 survived the planting trauma.

2. Yes, I understand that.

I would hope I have better luck, but even one surviving would be good. The satisfaction will be in the neighbor's reaction to seeing -10- new trees going in.

3. Cool - I just wanted you to know the facts.

We were looking into it as well, but we have many huge old trees on the property and no room for anything to sprout.
