7. My parents bought a model home in Austin....
that had been constructed around 1973...we got to keep the window coverings and bedding.

We had pumpkin shag carpet, and my bedroom set was yellow and gold check with daisies on it. To this day, I cannot stand anything orange. Very pale cream and vanilla are OK, but NO YELLOW and NO ORANGE!

The 70s. Do ya miss em?

8. My 1975 bedroom was very similar to my 2005 bedroom.
Both had white with blue flowered chenille bedspreads and blue carpet/area rug. :P
