Grout sealer recall

A friend called this evening and told me that CNN did a report on a grout sealer that was recalled.

It's Tile Perfect’s Stand ‘n Seal Spray-On Grout Sealer.

1. That's scary

I'm imagining the liability issues here. How does one remove toxic grout sealer short of doing a complete bathroom demolition?

Imagine the liability if a kitchen counter were sealed with this stuff.

This sounds like what happens in China.

3. Can you believe,I bought this stuff just last month and used it to

seal our newly tiled bathroom floor! Too bad I could not find the receipt to give Home Depot a piece of my mind.

Next time I go into that place I'm going to check the shelves to see if they still have it up.

4. We have an older can of it

Hubby bought it over a year ago and we never used it. I may or may not have the receipt but no matter. I'm bringing the can back.

I wonder how long they keep records of credit card purchases? Seems to me that they know so much about us for so long after our purchases that they might even have a record if we didn't pay with cash.
