Has anyone ever polished marble?
I have to deal with a marble floor around a toilet. The floor is (uric?) acid etched in spots and etched and spotted from what appears to have been some bout with the wrong cleaner. I really just want to get the marble to one even finish. It appears it was originally a high, mirror polish. I'd be thrilled with a semi gloss or moderately shiny. Getting ti to an even gloss all over is the thing I striving for.

If there is a coating one can 'paint' on, that'd be great. Maybe paste wax? I dunno. Any and all ideas welcome.

3. Go Home!
I JUST got back from Home Depot for some project supplies (electrical stuff, like GFCIs and light fixtures and such) and was looking at that VERY stuff. I ***almost*** bought it, too.

Toooo funny! :hi:

6. Will this stuff take out the discoloration in marble? I have some old
lamps with marble bases and would love to clean and whiten these bases. They are discolored in a circular manner around the brass column going from base to socket. Lots of folks through the years polished the brass parts without disassembling the lamps. These bases are now dull and discolored.
I would love to see them white again.

7. it's sure worth a try, the stuff doesn't cost too much and you can get
smaller containers.
